Analysis
You would think with a staggering 14 nominations that at least one of these songs would be worth an Oscar. But out of the nine I actually heard, none of them shine. Perhaps the Academy was sick of crappy songs so they decided to narrow the competition. It's for the best. It would take forever to see all these films...let alone search for Youtube clips.
